#BEDM Day 10 - Current Wishlist

I'm I really do not ask a whole lot because as I am approaching towards the end of my spring semester by ending it with a bang in rewarding my summer with some relaxation, plus more workkkkkkkkkkkkk.

This post is wanting me to confess my mortifying desires that I am longing to want in my hands and let me tell you, I just need some new clothes and school supplies. As summer is right around the corner, I will be walking across girls sporting midriff tops and guys with muscle tanks. To my eyes, I just noticed that I don't have much of a summer attire rather than a bunch of shorts and old tank tops. I have dresses because one of those days I will be impressing that boy that I had been eyeing for the past week  happen to need to feel like a gal for once haha. Definitely I would love some new clothes for the summer season.

I need some school supplies.... Cute ones. Omg.. I am such a big sucker for cute designs because I am confident that it will help me with my studies and gah, I just feel smart hah. Daiso had some really adorable cover notebooks, but they hadn't brought back any of the notebooks I am looking for. I guess some girls are just like me because I wouldn't get myself a plain composition notebook, and my mother find that an issue because I typically go for specific designs.

I just got these pill-formed pens about a month ago and now I can't find them. T__T Time to restock on more pens and pencils?

Definitely I could use a new backpack. The backpack I am currently using has been around with me since high school and I had been switching backpacks back and forth throughout college. Jansport's been around with me through high school and I am just ready to break off this relationship with it. I think this backpack looks really cute, but my parents are definitely going to disapprove rofl. It's cuteeeeee and I like ittt.

And may I haz Tsum Tsum too?? ^__^

What is currently on your wishlist?

Blog Everyday in May Challenge Update + BEDM (Day Nine): My Special Talent

Before I continue further with the post, I would like to let you know that I am going to be beginning to accept this challenge, and god who knows when will I ever finish a blogging challenge because I never told myself I was going to attempt this. I am a participant in the Blogging Everyday in May... or just starting out as one hah.  It was all of a whim, but hey I think this will do done for entertainment purposes - so why the heck not?! The point of this challenge is to blog every single day based on a suggested topic is given, or even if you do not want to follow by the rules, feel free to use your imagination because you are not restricted to use their bulletin. I am not going to explain furthermore, so I will give you this link because I challenge YOU to participate in this once-in-a-year blogging opportunity with me as we proceed along with May!

http://www.rosalilium.com/2015/04/blog-every-day-in-may-2015/

So without further ado,  I am somewhat behind this blogging challenge and it is fine because I want to get myself involved with the blogging challenge. I think I can do this.  I suppose today's entry would be revealing what my special talents are. To be quite honest, I rather think of myself as a bland person because I do not find myself interesting nor am I boring. I am somewhat in the middle - I guess - and I would not consider what I have special talents. However, I suppose because they signify who I am, then I would say it is a gift from God that I have these talents.

Who remembers this show?! I remember hyping over this series since Grade 3!

I have photogenic memory and I am really good at learning people's names. I am not sure if this can be deemed as a 'talent' because I know there are a bunch of peers who would forget one's name by the next day or coming across an acquaintance - almost forgetting what they looked before until they had to be reminded from where they met. I never forget a face and I won't say that it isn't stuck within my memory, but that is just how I remember. Yet, I suck at human anatomy and physiology and my brain capacity does not allow me to memorize 90 anatomical terms within two weeks.

I could spell out the alphabet in less than a minute, but I have known others who could do it within 30 seconds.... Yikes! Time for me to start practicing aloud and allow myself to be timed in order for me to outbeat others in the world out there!

I am a good listener, and there is no doubt about that because I enjoy helping others while I am there for them whenever they need a lending hand. I will be all ears and will be there for you whenever you need me unless you have reasons that I may not be the appropriate person. Still, I want to be able to offer support if I know that someone is in need and I am the reason why I can give you a shoulder to cry on.

I love baking and my mother tells me that my baking skills are spectacular enough for me to join a baking contest... Now I bake for fun and I am aware that there are some hardcore bakers out there who consider baking as their living. If we get along quite well, expect fresh baked cookies that are made by me straight to your home/workplace! :3

I know I am just a simple gal, but I would like to know what are your special talents!? Do you have any and do we have any similarities that we could relate to?

Rejection hurts

I believe that any form of rejection hurts and in my share of experiences, I had been rejected many times. Can we just agree to how much rejection hurts to how unfathomable it is to explain yourselves? I find it hard to accept the reality when it comes down to it, but in all honesty, there is something about rejection. I'm starting to accept that rejection is just another abstract that occurs in my life and I could not imagine how many times I wanted to achieve out of something so pointless, yet become distraught that anything is not possible.

I had been rejected by guys I had crushes on.
I had been rejected to participate in an assignment my instructor refused to let me help because of belittling my abilities.
I had been rejected by many job corporations.
I had been rejected to receive a potential scholarship.
I had been rejected to move onto to play within my school's badminton team.
I have more rejections that I could list, but I have no time to make the list go on.

All of these rejections I receive did kill my heart for some time, but then I had an epiphany. I noticed these rejections are a harsh way of seeing them as ways of improvement in preparation to keep fighting, and refusing to step foot on grown at all costs. I been there so many times and to realize that I noticed it doesn't bother me the year I grew. Heck, I would let it bother me from day to night while moping like the world is over if I was still a bratty sixteen year old. But you know what, if there were no rejection at all, where do we go to if we want to improve ourselves and findings that could decide whether it is amendable or not. If the issue has no way to contribute any further opportunities, does this mean it is another saying of our dreams have been crushed and probably kiss it goodbye?

I'm probably rambling nonsense because rejection is such an eerie state of mind and there is really no way for me to explain whether we need to accept rejection or realize that our big hopes have gone down the pipe and there is no sewer to bring back our sudden feelings. I just got rejected to my dream university in hoping to study there for the next two years and I got that side of the story really well. I got smacked right on the side of my face and it felt great. I'm not complaining like a teenager am I? If I am, I will certainly take back everything I say because I say what I want on my blog and I cannot help if I am restricted to not express my feelings through words. I guess I will learn to accept the truth, or maybe I wouldn't  for quite a while because rejection is fucking confusing.

Five countries I would love to visit

I never went out of the States and that is really sad because every person I could think of had already traveled to either their home country or visited a country of their own for entertainment purposes. The furthest I had traveled was Idaho, and it was quite the new experience for me. I had always had the travel bug, but my parents are not the kind of people who would let their kids travel since they are always afraid of paying travel expenses. :( Good news is that I may be starting to travel this summer since this is the only summer when I do not have summer school and rather than stay home and work during this duration, I am making goals to travel from other cities to one big country. It will not be drastic, but I want to make this happen...for me. :)

Italy: Hooray for unlimited pasta for when I can have when I want haha. Nah.. I don't love Italy just for their amazing pasta and their unique 8 course meal (oh la la), but there's a lot of attractions that I would like to stop and. They must have great museums where you want your precious time and view their work of art for as long while you are at it because.... It's Italy of course. Okay.. Maybe I do want to visit Venice with my cup of authentic gelato by hand as I am enjoying my time viewing the Tower of Pisa.

Canada: Oh Canada! I had my eyes over this country for as long as I could remember and to tell you the truth, I befriended more Canadian friends via online while I was still gaming. When I was in high school, I had a long distance relationship with a guy who lives in Canada and let us say things were just not meant to be.... But when can you say? I was only young and love goes a long way, buddy. I had thoughts about moving up Canada to because many personal issues came through my way and I found Canada to be a perfect ticket to escape my problems. I found it to be the perfect country for me after my online friends kept convincing me, yet I'm not sure because it's a big decision. It seems like such a chill country and there's just something about Canada that I love, but cannot say what and would like to snatch the opportunity to explore more of Canada before coming into conclusion. I am actually heading to Canada this summer and by default, this will be the first time traveling out of the States. #missionaccomplished

South Korea: I once told my mom I wanted to move to Korea just because I am smitten with Korean culture and the boys especially... Haha. She thought I was stupid and that was how I was thought back in high school. I was addicted to K-Pop and their drama series, which had me assimilate into their culture. Coming from someone who appreciates Korean culture, they have decent technology in South Korea and the city view is amazing... Especially during night. I cannot stress enough how much I would love to visit Korea and try out all their dishes. I love Korean makeup because their packaging is so adorable and if you do not know what I am trying to say, then see for yourselves. :) Shopping would be an answer here because I love seeking for some cute finds since I typically opt for cute clothes.

Japan: I have studied Japanese since I was about 9, but then again that was a long time ago and I probably forgot most of it. I just love Japanese culture because I typically grew up with it and I am pretty fond with their lifestyle. Ugh... I just want to come here because their sushi is probably the best and it must be cheap here too. Now I want some sushi... Unlimited supply please! :3 Everything is absolutely kawaii and their cafes are going to my first stops when I arrive here since I want to eat all of their yummy pastries. Beautiful pagodas and sceneries make it photo-worthy to go on social media, but really, every country has beautiful scenery. :) Oh my goodness.. Don't get me started with the Hello Kitty Cafe!

England: One of the places where I would like to visit and it really had nothing to do with their amazing accents if you must ask. I had been wanting to study abroad to the UK for a really long time and I am currently striving to make that happen. Their English institutions deliver a rich background and tradition to providing  education for their students. and I actually heard this somewhere. There is some quite unique history with the UK and I wanted to watch a play inside the Globe Theater since it is definitely a classic property made for Shakesphere's play. The atmosphere is entirely convincing and there is so much to go around while I am exploring England.

March left me like...

So sorry for neglecting my blog lately because March had been so busy on me and if you are in college, I bet you can feel me under this circumstance.

DARN YOU FINALS!!!!!!! #YAFEELSME?!

Yep. I have been performing some devoted studying for finals because I want to ace them like a boss. Now that finals are over, I am fucking done with this shit because all my concerns are leaning towards my Spring Break plans and transfer acceptance letters. So far I just got accepted into one college (YESSSSSS) and I am just currently playing the waiting game for three other universities.

I'm also somewhat excited for the Spring Semester because it will be my last year, though it is a sentimental feeling because I will be leaving the school so soon and my heart still feels like I belong there. That is the bright side because I will just kick back and relax until something breathtaking happens in my way and worth chasing after that matter.

The not-so bright side is worrying the outcome of my grades and my GPA because originally if you guys did not know about me, I just switched majors out of the whim when I was applying for universities.

Originally, I was a Pre-Nursing student and let us just leave it as a nutshell that I probably was not meant to become a registered nurse in the long run. Boy, those hardcore courses knocked down my GPA pretty significantly and I really did cry when I took notice on my current GPA. This means I have to work extra hard to bring up my GPA, in regards to still be part of the Dean's List and be apart of future scholarships. This also includes along with the private university because there is many competition going on with students trying to apply here and the required GPA is really crazy.

I also am wondering whether I should be quitting my job and seek for another that pays better since I owe about 6-7k worth of bills in such little time. It is a long story and something I do not feel comfortable disclosing. Now this is the time I either worry or take action, like, this instant.

It sucks being an adult....

Review: Head and Shoulders Instant Hydration VoxBox

Hello my loveys! I am back for another sponsored review and just in time, I am going to review my thoughts on this well-known shampoo brand, Head and Shoulders. I received Instant Hydration, along with their line's shampoo and conditioner.

Their website claims that that by regular usage with their line would:
+Get to an amazing level of hair hydration and scalp moisture with New Head & Shoulders Instant Hydration Dandruff Shampoo
+Formulated with three moisturizers to deliver a deep hydration you can feel

+Provides instant moisture to the hair and scalp

Typically, it is not my favorite shampoo brand and in a regular basis, you would probably have seen these television/media advertisements restating that this miracle brand is the absolute wonders for those who suffer from chronic dandruff. I have used Head and Shoulders before, but it is not like I use it because I would wake up to having flakes on my hair - I really do not have a dandruff issue. I guess when I do go to my local drugstore, I would always wing out the cheapest shampoo from the Health/Beauty shelf since I did not really gave a poop about shampoo. But hey, this is for testing purposes so I thought I give it a go and determine if this will be my go-to product.

At first, the scent definitely drew me into the product because I prefer to use shampoos with a hearty appropriate aroma. I have a thing with opening hair products just to smell its scent before purchasing the product at a drugstore - am I the only one here? Their shampoo smells like a tropical breeze, perhaps like Pina Colada in an applicable manner. However, their conditioner was slightly off the chart in comparison with their shampoo. It was almost like tropical combined with melted marshmallows, and I thought it was a bit strange though I am difficult at describing anything beyond words.

Having to use this product about five times now, I have to say that this product did not live up to my expectations and I stand by my point correctly since I know this product was not for me. I have really oily hair, and this shampoo/conditioner heading into the shower with me was not a great combination. This resulted in making my hair even greasier than it already was the next day and the lack of volume made my hair look really limp - not attractive if you are a fine-hair gal like me! This literally screamed out: "I like to bathe and wash my hair with vegetable oil and extra lard... bring me all those lipids ya'll got in store for me because I want to begin the greased-oil hair trend."

In final words, I do not recommend this product if you have really oily hair. It will not give you that wanted volume you have always dreamed of nor will it make you feel really refreshed the day after you wash your hair. I gave this to my sister since she is the complete opposite of me, and she said it worked wonders for her thick, dry hair. Clearly, it was meant for those who needed the extra moisturizer to drink up the hydration pick-me-up. I am most likely not to be purchasing this product, but I am open to other products within this line.

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Things people love that I (secretly) hate

This was purely out of boredom, but you know what, I do try to make an effort haha. All of these is based solely on my opinion and I do not intend to promote any backlashes since we all have personal preferences - and that is okay! I may possibly do another post where people do not find 'this' their cup of tea, but certainly it is my cup of tea. Here is just a list and it was difficult trying to shorten the list since there are more things I would like to add, but for the sake of this post, short and snazzy is the way to go :D

Uggs and shorts put together - I believe something tells me that you are really weather confused because you cannot decide whether your feet are really cold, yet you feel the weather is really hot outside?
Half-shaved heads - Skillrex inspired many girls out there to shave partially side of their heads. Good job Skillrex, now you have some explaining to do.
Birkenstocks - I do not much to say about this sandal trend. They are just not for me then... I guess.
Pop Tarts - I never grew to like any of these popular kid-friendly snacks and I probably never will.
Black Coffee - I'm a huge sweet tooth, meaning I got to have some sugar since I cannot survive without any sweets on me. Bitterness makes me spit the drink right back into my cup, possibly letting my bitchiness rule the day.
Twizzlers - Red Vines terrify me. Don't get me started with their sister candy.
Overrated boy bands/singers - I just am not fond with their music and would it be sinful expressing slight animosity? I think not because in middle school, I had a bunch of girls disliking me due to the amount of trash spoken towards the Jonas Brothers... Whoops.
League of Legends - Was a gamer girl, never again will I get myself into this game. I don't even know what is great about this game.
Eggnog - Ick! I cannot bring myself to digest overly sweet Christmassy thick milk down my esophagus.
Cat Claws - I am suing you if you scratch me until I bleed heavily and needing to get a referral to the nearest hospital.
Flare Jeans - In no way will I start wearing these, let's just remind how they were awesome back in elementary days LOL.
Frozen - I actually do not hate Frozen, but it has gotten viral since people are constantly making references and singing their songs everywhere they go.
Nutella - One spoonful is good enough for me, but one after the other, it is too much for me to handle and I don't always crave that much chocolate.
Little Einstein Remix - Omg this hyped-up song... Just no! I had already endured hearing this the past month and this needs to stop immediately! It is so annoying and I cannot get the song out of my head! T__T

What are particular things that is trending that you wish it could put an end to it? Is there something on the list you agree with?
